A young man running at a marathon event, muddy legs, wearing a gray T-shirt with yellow text, black shorts, and a black cap, passing under a banner that reads 'Bighorn Finish' in a park with green trees in the background.
Four young men standing on a green floating dock in a lake, holding paddles, wearing life jackets, and smiling at the camera under a white canopy. They are barefoot, with a few trees, buildings, and boats visible in the background.

  • I graduated as valedictorian of my high school class in 2021 and went on to study mechanical engineering at the University of Notre Dame for two years. In 2023, I transferred to the Colorado School of Mines, where I’m currently completing a degree in mechanical engineering with a focus in biomechanics and a minor in economics. After graduation, I plan to use my combined background in engineering and economics to start my own business.

  • I spend most of my time outdoors, working on school assignments, and on various mechanical projects. I’m currently building a crosskart (picture above), the latest in a long line of personal builds that have shaped my interest in engineering. Outside of classes, I run Peak Prep, spend time with friends, and take every opportunity to get outside. Occasionally that includes trail-running (also seen above).
